Veterans Day Mass

Holy Family Cemetery invites veterans, their families, and members of the community to join us for a special Veterans Day Mass honoring the courageous men and women who have served our nation in the United States Armed Forces.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be celebrated by The Most Reverend J. Douglas Deshotel, D.D., Bishop of Lafayette, as we gather in prayer and gratitude for our living veterans and remember those who have gone before us.

This year’s celebration will also mark a significant moment in the life of Holy Family Cemetery. During the Mass, Bishop Deshotel will solemnly consecrate the new altar in the cemetery chapel, permanently dedicating it for the celebration of the sacred mysteries.

We invite our community to join us for this beautiful occasion as we honor those who served, pray for those who have died, and dedicate our new altar to the worship of God.
